Just dropped a free engaging portfolio presentation template!

I have been engaging a lot with the London design community. Whenever I speak to junior members, they always ask me how to make an exciting portfolio presentation and what to include. To help out, free Figma community resource to help you all out!

Crafting the deck
I've spent a lot of time working on this portfolio presentation template. It has taken me a few months to develop, during which I thought about the best and easiest ways to create an engaging presentation. I found that Figma videos, smart animations, and GIFs were the answer. They are easy to use and very effective. I have shared the deck with various designers for testing purposes, and they have all loved it! ♥️

While it's possible to monetize something like this, I think it's too valuable and helpful for the community to do so.

Loom style walkthrough

Walk through your work async in your own time. Record yourself going through your deck and attach it to your Figma file. Allow people to watch your presentation at their own convenience and catch up before or after your interview. This is a great way to stand out and present your work in a relaxed manner if you're comfortable on video.

Scrollable frames inside your presentation

Presenting desktop designs can be challenging due to their height and width. However, using scrollable frames can simplify the process. Simply scroll up and down during your presentation to walk through different parts of your design.

Smart animating between desktop frames on scroll and Annoate

Take people through the journey of your design by smart animating between different frames and focusing on different aspects with a blinking cursor.

Pinterest Style Board

It’s always nice to hear more about you as a person in a portfolio presentation, this scrollable Pinterest board allows you to insert different images and videos that you can go around and showcase people different moments.
